Old Passport

As i stepped out of the house i switched on my iPod. Sadly it didn’t have any power left. Immediately i was brought back to the sermon about the importance of being plugged in to God’s power (in whatever you do?)? or something like that. Why? Cause you might have great content in your* iPod – music, videos, podcasts, games; great UI(User Interface). But if you don’t recharge and get a boost, you’d soon run dry.
Yesterday i was having my daily dose of PES2009 – possibly the best game in the world. I usually win by a huge margin because my team has er….power players? But yesterday i could only manage a draw 50% of the time or just win by one or two goals. Then i decided to change my formation and use players that i haven’t used in a long while. Then i started owning again. After the gaming session i was reminded of something. Like how people always say we(the church) are a body? I also think that we are a team. We have a game plan. We have players. We have coaches and all that. And ultimately we have goal/prize. Ya so like a soccer team, we should choose the right players for every match. And play to everyones strength. And if the team isn’t doing that well, the coach has to access the situation and must not be afraid to make changes, even if it means subbing out the super/young players for older and more experienced players. And if he has to go back to basics…DON’T BE SHY. Cause ultimately its not about the individual but about the team.
WAH today alex came back from nepal. When he called me right, i thought everything was ok but he told me he was on a wheelchair and hhaving breathing difficulties. So we all like cua sai-ed. As auntie leah and i went down first he was there at the entrance waiting for us. He was like mega pale man! He really didn’t look normal. So we rushed him to our favourite hospital. He seriously looked like he was on drugs men, it really looked like nothing was going on in his brain. Like he was completely sedated or something Ya so after some having some injection he was much better, could actually hear what he was saying for the first time. And everytime my mother talked to the doctor right, she had this accent… super funny man ahaha.
Last Thursday, i went back to school to return my teacher the discs that he passed to us for our project. But before that i had to get a disc from the lab which i had left 2 weeks earlier. While I waited for the lab technician to open the door to the lab, i just stood there, i remember the times spent there so vividly. Everything was playing out in my head like some movie. When the technician opened the door. Miraculously it was still there. So after i returned it, my lecturer said to me ” so….its been a long journey and its finally over”. And i thought to myself ” what the peh is he talking about” then it hit me.
“NO MORE SCHOOL!!!!!!”
Being the introverted man that i am, i didn’t show what i was feeling haha.
Then i went to the library…man i haven’t been into the library in a long while. No the library wasn’t the place where i mugged or whatever but a place of visual entertainment and bodily rejuvenation. My friends and i would spend hours there watching Discovery Channel and sleeping hahaha. It was super comfy since it was like some movie room with a sofa thingy. Ya so i took a nap for old times sake.
I wanted to eat at Mensa Canteen before i said bye to TP- which in my opinion sold the best western food in the entire school. Just imagine deep fried pork tenderloin with jalepeno cheese and brown sauce. Add carbonara and veggies to that. Wah cannot take it. But boss decided to eat somewhere else…………….
I’m craving for it now hhaha.
