Rest

On saturday, i wasn’t rostered to do anything. And if you know me, that rarely rarely happens. Yesterday was the first time in at least 2 months where i didnt have to do anything; super shiok. Could chill for awhile, walk walk, drink drink, see see, eat eat. I felt weird after it past 2pm. Haha cause im usually in church by that time already. Ya so went to the beach with angie tiff and gin. We saw this amazing kite thingy. The kite was a combination of 4 kites and they weren’t the diamond shaped kites we’re familiar with. To the best of my ability, i would say that it looks like a really really sharp swift + big swift ( a swift is a really really fast bird if you must know). and each of them had like this super super long tails that made sounds when they turned, they sounded like airplanes passing by. The kite(all 4-in-1) caught so much wind that kite-man almost looked like he was going to get carried away man seriously, you can see him really struggling to not lose control of it. But what amazed me the most was how he landed the thing. He made them swoosh down. Then just before they hit the ground, he made them hover in the air, and the hovering was like all 4 of the kites were vertical then he did someother thing and the kites just sat on the beach for awhile before gently falling backwards. If it doesn’t sound exciting, i say sorry first haha.

Then 5pm cam strolling along, and i felt super weird cause it sorta looked like we were gonna be late for church. But thankfully we made itback in time. Shook the hand of the welcome guy and headed straight for the comp. But then i was like “eh…wait, IM NOT ON DUTY!!! wohoo” followed by, “eh what do i do now?” so i just stood there lo haha. i was serious kinda lost during Praise and Worship. But the service went really well lah i must say.

My mum bought some mooncakes. And i tried the champange one. Its quite nice actually, nice and soft. You might think its ex but actually  just a little more than the normal ones, and whats more it comes in a metal box. see so its better. Can keep the box, then keep things people give me, then i can become sentimental. OK im kinda going off topic here.

You know how you hear people say that their ah mah’s food is to die for? well i seriously beg to differ. I seriously can die from eating it. Well she hasn’t cooked in awhile because of some previous issue. Auntie Leah has been doing the cooking for quite awhile already and i think shes improving. Ok you see right, the problem is that my ah mah has slowly begun cooking again. But not like a whole dinner lah, like one dish kinda thing. Which makes me think that she might one day decide cook again. So im having a hard time deciding what i should do. I can do either one of 2 things.

1. Eat abit, but the danger of that is that, she might just start cooking more and more. And thats something which i dread.
2. Just don’t eat her stuff altogether. And she might get really emo.

SO I DON’T KNOW. See how it goes.

Work has been really really fun i must say. I’ve been to more hotels 2 weeks than in my entire 19year history on this blue planet. One day i went to the most expensive suite at a particular 6 star hotel. OMG! Its as big as a flat. 1 master bed room; 1 normal room with 2 beds; 1 living room; 2 dining areas; 2 toilets. The whole place is carpeted. Even the toiletries are branded – bvlgari leh don’t play play. And everything in the masterbed room is love nest material. Serious. You can have all of it for just 5k a night. wohoo. So far i’ve been to the Ritz Carlton, Conrad, Swissotel, The Regent, Fairmont Singapore. Everything is very nice man. Like when im on event stand-by right, i fell asleep on one of the sofas/couches right, then suddenly i woke up, and it wasnt the normal kind of waking up. I jerked and did one super loud snort. WAH LAU, so paisae. Like seriously the whole floor heard my snort lo ahah. I just act blur haha. SERIOUSLY MALUATION….
