Man i really can feel his pain.
Sorry if i havent been updating. But during weekdays, i just can’t seem to log into wordpress. Like seriously..
I attended the Paradise Community Church conference after much hesitation haha. Why hesitation? Cause i really didn’t like the previous one. But i went and i learnt alot from them. And the songs they wrote are actually quite nice. And we had a record attendance during service. That was……interesting.
I think Auntie Leah is really smart. Why? Cause i really really hate tomatoes. And yet she can still make me eat a whole lot of them. So how does she make me eat tomatoes? By cooking them with egg of course. If you don’t know, i really love eggs. Eggs are like the best lah. So nice. So scheming she is. ahhahaha
From tomorrow onwards, i’ll be at Raffles City from 7am – 3pm for work. Wah lau means i have to wake up before 6. Which is quite…….. haha. And from what i heard, my office would in some sort of basement some where secret. I seriously know where it is.
Today’s soccer was amazing firstly becausei scored an amazing goal. I think a volley. And secondly, we got to play in the rain. Man, it’s been a really really really long time since we did that man. AHAA we were like sliding everywhere and anywhere. We really had a lot of fun. Maybe it rained cause boss didnt play. Like 99.5% of the time, if he plays it doesnt rain. Thats amazing.

When i was driving down to Mount Faber Safra for the weekly soccer session, Ber saw the mist first, then we were like “WAH CHUI LIAO LAH SSIAO LIAO LAH!” It seriously looked like it was the the end of the world. like it just covered this entire area near CBD quite freaky. But it was just in the CBD once we passed there then it was fine already leh. Weird Weird.
I shared during devotions on saturday and I shared about worship well kinda. I dont know whether what i shared was like relevant annot. I told them like when i first came to church i’d say that thefast songs were praise songs and the slow songs were worship songs and that after reading something about that topic i realised how wrong i really was. If fast songs were really praise songs, then how come in You Are Good, the chorus says ” we worship you”? wouldn’t that make it a fast worship song? And how come the hymns of old are called Hymns of Praise? And in the bible there are some hints that worship doesnt generally mean singing a song. For example, in
Amos 5:23-24 (NLT) – “Away with your noisy hymns of praise! I will not listen to the music of your harps. Instead, I want to see a mighty flood of justice, an endless river of righteous living.”

From the example above, we know that he was going up to the mountain to sacrifice his son. So ya he might have sung praises to the Lord but more importantly he was going to sacrifice his son out of obedience. So i think worship is sorta like a lifestyle of obedience. That’s what i felt lah. If i’m wrong please forgive/correct me me. I also believe that serving with a spirit of excellence and utilizing your gifts for the benefit of others is an act of worship to the Lord.
Wah this week has really been tiring man. work here work there, class here class there.
The doctrines class has really been amazing man. Like i learnt so much from it, and it gave me a fresh insight from what i already knew. Like when he talked about some stuff and i knew about it, i was like Sia lah i know already. But everytime that happens he just explains/describes it in a different way. So its quite cool. And Ken Malmin is a scratch handicapper and thats inba a.k.a inbalanced.
Er….national day service went well. The songs that we sang were really nice. And like i think the people really enjoyed the service. I think i know why the laser effect thing didnt work already after seeing the youtube video. Cause our smoke right, it wasnt the kind that lingers ( and do swerly things) in the air, and the lazer was kinda week. But audrey tried lah so nevermind. Then we had like this live screening of the national day parade right then like the girls started coming into the sanctuary one by one then at the sing along section the were singing like they were really there haha i was like —-> (-_-)” haha. After that right, 2 petite sized girls started like conversing in chinese for no apparent reason. And on top of that right they were like trying to do it with an authentic accent haha. Kinda funny. The after like 30 minutes a group of girls gathered around them and started doing the same as well for like another 30 minutes and i was like WAH WHY ALL CHINESE ONE!!!@!@#@#!@##!@#@@ So i joined them based on the “if you cannot beat them, join them” logic. But that didnt work out very well either. HAHA!
Then today when i was like singing right, like when i was singing the high part of the bridge for Here I am to Worship right, i started shivering, i dont know why, like i wasn’t scared, cold or anything. Boss said it might be something but i can’t remember. Weird
Soccer. I grabbed the first pair of socks i could get my hands on ah then i only realised that its the one for field soccer. wah lau. I looked kinda gay haha. Like i was wearing my blue TP shirt, bright pink shorts, blue knee length socks and white shoes. My team wasn’t really playing well as a whole at the start. And when i ran (well actually not alot) around the court right. My socks kept dropping, like the veet legs advertisment you know? So I/we really had to pull up socks. Then suddenly we started winning games and like we had like the mojo man. Haha Shiok.
My boss took off tomorrow and his boss is in KL so tomorrow will be a nice day at work aha.
